Who We Are
Middle Americans was started in 2026 by a group of people in a swing county in a swing state who felt that neither political party adequately represented their views. We see ourselves as centrists – not far left, not far right, but right in the middle. We’re not for a third party, we’re for better understanding, better character, and better communication.
It occurred to us that many people feel the same way we do. As we got to talking, we realized that while we differ on some policies, we all agree on a handful of things:
- A better understanding of the Constitution and the rights it provides are essential to a thriving Republic.
- The character of our elected officials and civil servants matters, and are essential to a thriving Republic.
- Treating everyone with dignity, citizens and non-citizens, matters; and engaging in respectful conversations are essential to a thriving Republic.
- There are a ton of people who agree with #1 thru #3.
So, we started Middle Americans.
